FASFA UPDATE

Students!  This is just a friendly reminder for you to complete the FAFSA for 2017-2018 on or after October 1, 2016.  Because the 2017-2018 FAFSA will ask for older income and tax information, you will already have done your 2015 taxes by the time you fill out your FASFA, and you won't need to estimate your tax information.  You may be able to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (IRS DRT) to automatically import your 2015 tax information into your FAFSA.  To complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA please go to www.fafsa.gov.

Although the State of Illinois does not have a budget yet, you must have a 2017-2018 FAFSA with a valid EFC on file in order to be considered for the MAP grant.  This is free money!  You must be a resident of Illinois.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the college's Financial Aid Coordinator.
